Licensing TOS
(A.K.A. The Legal Stuff We Wish We Didn’t Have to Say)
By purchasing or downloading any Malevolent Prints product, you agree to the following terms. These terms exist to protect the artists, the artwork, and your right to use it within clearly defined limits. Violating them will result in revoked licensing, eternal bad vibes, and potential legal action.
🩸 LICENSE OVERVIEW
Your purchase includes a non-exclusive Personal + Limited Commercial Use License.
This means you can use our designs under the following conditions:
You May:
-
Use the design for personal projects.
-
Use it in a small business setting (up to 2 people, including you).
-
Create and sell up to 150 total physical end products (per design).
That’s 150 maximum, not guaranteed, and definitely not unlimited. Once you hit that number, you’ll need an Extended Commercial License to continue production.
🚫 RESTRICTIONS & PROHIBITIONS
Let’s be crystal clear — you may not:
-
Resell, remake, redistribute, or gift the design in any form (digital or physical).
-
Claim the design, or any altered version of it, as your own work.
-
Change, trace, crop, recolor, or otherwise modify our artwork for resale.
-
Upload or sell our designs on Print-on-Demand (POD) platforms, including but not limited to:
Spoonflower, Redbubble, Society6, Zazzle, Printify, Printful, etc. -
Use, upload, or submit our artwork to any AI systems, generators, training models, “machine learning” datasets, or AI-based editing tools (including but not limited to DALL·E, Midjourney, Firefly, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Leonardo.ai, etc.). Our art is made by humans — keep it that way.
-
Do not use our work to generate derivative or “inspired” AI content, prompts, or retrained images.
-
Manufacture, mass-produce, or license our designs without a separate written agreement.
All mockups and product photos must be properly watermarked. We take art theft seriously, and we track it.
⚰️ EXTENDED & MANUFACTURING LICENSES
If you’re a larger business, manufacturer, POD, or fabric shop — or you plan to create more than 150 units — you’ll need an Extended Commercial License or Manufacturing License.
These licenses outline higher production limits, distribution rights, and branding permissions.
Contact us directly before producing at scale.
🕯️ OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT
All artwork remains the sole property of Malevolent Prints.
Purchasing a license does not transfer copyright or ownership. We reserve the right to:
-
Reuse, modify, or repurpose our own designs.
-
Sell the same artwork to other licensed buyers.
-
Display our work in portfolios, marketing, or any future collections.
Basically: you’re licensing usage rights — not buying the soul of the piece.
💀 INSTANT DOWNLOAD TERMS
By purchasing and downloading our files, you acknowledge and accept all terms above.
No refunds are offered on digital downloads, but if you run into issues or need help with your files, send us a message — we’ll sort it out faster than you can say DMCA takedown.
Refund Policy
Refund Policy
All products from Malevolent Prints are digital downloads. Once you’ve hit “purchase” and that file lands on your device, it’s officially yours — no refunds, no exchanges, no cancellations. Think of it like getting a tattoo: once it’s done, there’s no Ctrl + Z.
Why We Don’t Do Refunds
Every design is hand-drawn, one-of-a-kind digital work. You can’t “return” a file after it’s downloaded — the internet doesn’t really do store credit. Our art is priced fairly for the time, effort, and caffeine that goes into every piece, and we stand by the quality.
If Something Breaks
If your file doesn’t download right, gets corrupted, or the link throws a tantrum, email malevolentprints@outlook.com and we’ll fix it. We can’t refund, but we’ll make sure you actually get what you paid for.
The Fine Print
-
All sales are final.
-
Digital products only — no shipping, no returns.
-
We’ll assist with technical issues, not buyer’s remorse.
Double-check your cart before you buy. We love what we make — we just want you to be sure you do too.
Rarities Explained
Rarities Explained
Our designs drop using a rarity system — kind of like a collectible lineup cards for art nerds like us. Each tier shows how exclusive (or not) a design is. The numbers below are maximums, not guarantees. So, for example: an “Uncommon” piece might have 4 colorways or 40, and each colorway could have up to 25 copies total. Think of it like limited-run vinyls — once they’re gone, they’re gone.
